A LITTLE BIT
OF HISTORY

Italian entrepreneur and restaurateur, Tommaso Morelato with his friend Stefano Cavinato opened the doors to Toscana Divino, in 2012. Since then, it has become a much-loved establishment within the thriving Brickell neighborhood in the heart of Miami, over the years hosting dignitaries, celebrities, major sports figures and community leaders.
Toscana Divino was among the first wave of authentic Italian restaurants to usher in the rinascimento, or “Renaissance” of Italian food that the City of Miami is currently experiencing, thereby also among the first to draw Miamians’ attention to the health and .wellness benefits of the Italian lifestyle and slow food.

Ironside Kitchen, a typical Neapolitan pizzeria, opened in 2014 in the emerging Upper East Side of Miami. From the beginning, this relaxed joint enjoyed great popularity among the locals as well as visitors from all over the world due to its unique setting.

In 2016, the Toscana Divino Hospitality Group launched a new concept restaurant inside the Oceana Key Biscayne, a 140-unit luxury condominium. With this opening, the company entered into a new phase: the expansion of the “brand” through the development of a network of small restaurants in high-end residential buildings. Since January 2018 the group manages also the prestigious “Ballerina” restaurant inside Oceana Bal Harbor.

I take great pride in delivering authenticity in everything I do because this is who I am. 

This is how I was raised.   This simple, yet sophisticated philosophy enables me to strike a balance between what’s essential and what can elevate dining to a multi-sensory level. In all my companies always seeking ways to innovate our existing traditions and to think outside-the-box to enhance the dining experience.
